It’s a well-known fact to my blog readers that I have, shall we say, an unusual sense of humour. I oftentimes enjoy something that’s silly or a little off colour in taste/humour. So when I saw a certain something come up on Teefury, I knew I had to buy it. The item in question? The Who’s Your Daddy Shirt!
I bought shirts for my awesomely nerdy Brother-in-Law Nick since he’s the one who lent me the Alien Quadrilogy which spawned this post*, and for my pregnant blogging friend Jenny since she enjoyed that movie franchise and is pretty much game for all things geeky**.
Anyway, both of the recipients seemed to get what I was going for with my silly gift (Nick wore his to the baby shower I helped throw for my Sister-in-Law), so I am happy I could spread some dorkdom around.
Now if only I could get a child-size Leia the Riveter shirt for my niece*** . . .
*Coming up on the blog, I am planning to return to the “I Watched It So You Didn’t Have To” blog series I started with Predator 2 and Conan the Barbarian by writing a post about one of the worst movies I have ever seen . . . Showgirls. I took notes when I watched it a while ago, but its horribleness was so overwhelming, I needed to put some space between the viewing experience and writing of the post. Really, it is that bad. The things I do for this blog . . .
**I may also have bought one for myself to wear at a later, possibly pregnant date.
***I would buy one for myself as well because it’s awesome.
