Or at least 200 bucks.
I’m kind of a photography dork, so when Polaroid announced that they were discontinuing their traditional instant picture film, it was kind of a sad day. There’s something awesome and retro about taking a photograph with it and shaking it into development.*
Anyway, in spite of this development, the manufacturer hasn’t disappeared off the market completely and instead, have basically been developing a newer, more modern version of the same thing.
Volia, the PoGo camera, a newfangled digital with a colour printer attached. Just take a shot and out comes a 2 by 3 print in the similarly fuzzy blue green style we all know and love. Plus, the way the “film” is designed, you can peel and affix it like a sticker which is kind of cool.
It’s first generation technology, so there are bound to be some short comings, but if Polaroid is your thing, save up your cash ’cause this puppy comes out in the early spring!
*I know that you’re not technically supposed to shake it, but I think I’ve been brainwashed by Outkast because it’s kind of programmed into my brain somehow.
