This past weekend, Boy and I went out to find a little present to send to a friend of mine who just had a baby and while we were looking at toys and whatnot, we started talking about when we had kids what kind of stuff we might buy them or how we might decorate a nursery (in the far distant future when we do the whole baby thing).
Anyway, since we’re both major geeks, we were talking about doing it up geek-style (possibly something like the picture below) because cutesy nurseries are totally not our thing.

So this morning, I was surfing around the internet in my usual way, and I think the geek thing is a good idea because I came across these:


Freaking cross stitched Zelda and Mario map blankets! I mean how awesomely retro would these be for a little kid? Actually, screw the little kid! I want ‘em for me!
So major major kudos to Servotron and Cross-Stitch Ninja. If you’re ever selling that stuff, count me among the first of your buyers!
